Kristin Pitanza Book Presentation "Speed My Way Up" 

Krstin is a native Staten Islander who is an adjunct lecturer at the College of Staten Island and St. John's University where she teaches writing and education. In her book, she elegantly weaves four short stories that span four decades to examine the intricate politcal, social, economic and racial fabric that makes up Staten Island's unique culture and proves that it is truly a borough of its own.
